Comparison
ADHD Singles vs Hiki
The biggest neurodivergent dating app, or a site where ADHD is what everyone has in common.
- Quick to join
- 18+ only
Hiki and ADHD Singles both exist because mainstream dating apps can feel like they were built for someone else's brain. Hiki is a friendship and dating app for autistic, ADHD and other neurodivergent adults, started in New York in 2019 by Jamil Karriem, who has said it was inspired by his younger autistic cousin. ADHD Singles is a dating site built around ADHD, for adults with ADHD and the people who like dating them, with most members in the UK and the USA.

Who you will meet on each
Hiki welcomes the whole neurodivergent community: autistic people, people with ADHD, AuDHD, Tourette's and dyslexia, and LGBTQIA+ and non-binary members are named in its own description. Its roots are in autism, and the early design work was done with autistic adults. CBS News reported in 2025 that it had more than 350,000 users in 100 countries, which makes it the biggest app of its kind.
ADHD Singles is narrower on purpose. ADHD is the thing everyone here has in common, either because they have it or because they are drawn to people who do. Autistic members with ADHD are welcome too, and our page on AuDHD dating is written for them. Most members are between 35 and 54, so you are likely to meet people who found out about their ADHD as adults.
Friendship, dating or both
One of Hiki's real strengths is that friendship and dating are separate, so not every match has to be a potential date. That suits people who want to build confidence or find their people before anything romantic. On ADHD Singles, your profile says what you are open to, from friendship to a relationship or something casual, and the daily matches take it into account. Members' feed posts, polls and group chats of up to 50 people give you a way to get to know people without a one-to-one.
How you find people
Hiki matches on special interests, location and personality, and says it deliberately avoids very narrow filters. It also offers video messaging and lets members set communication preferences, which many neurodivergent people value. ADHD Singles gives you a short list of suggested matches every day, based on who you want to meet, how far you will travel and what you enjoy, so there is never a mountain of profiles to wade through. VIP members can add advanced search filters when they want to look more widely.
Phone, laptop or both
Hiki is an app for iPhone and Android. ADHD Singles runs in any web browser on a laptop or phone and can be saved to your home screen to open like an app, with native apps in selected countries. If you prefer to write longer messages on a proper keyboard, or you switch devices a lot, that difference matters.
Checks and support
Hiki says it verifies profiles and has a zero-tolerance policy on harassment and ableism, with block and report tools. ADHD Singles offers a free ID check or a short live video check with a moderator, screens every photo and message as it is uploaded, warns you when someone tries to move the chat to another app, and has real people answering support at any hour. The full list is on our safety page.
What each one costs
Hiki sells a Premium subscription, with Sparks and Boosts as one-off extras. On ADHD Singles, Classic members get a daily allowance of messages and can always answer anyone on a paid plan; VIP and VIP Plus are on our pricing page.
Which suits you?
Choose Hiki if you want the biggest neurodivergent community, especially if you are autistic, and you like having friendship and dating kept apart. Choose ADHD Singles if ADHD is the part of you that most needs understanding, you want a few good matches a day near you in the UK or the USA, and you like being able to use it on a laptop as well as a phone. Trying each is easy, so see which one suits you.
